I’ve tried cortisone, but that doesn’t keep it away. Is there anything else I can do? Over the counter medicine? My doctor subscribed lotion to me also, but didn’t work. Please help

I had psoriasis so bad one year my hair was falling out. Nothing the doc gave me worked, steroid drops, shampoo’s with tar etc. The only thing that seems to work for me is nizarol shampoo, but it’s almost $ 15.00 a bottle.
